In memory of the late Yum Yum, Billy Mitchell, we're organizing a community cleanup event throughout the month of April, accompanied by fantastic prizes! The top prize is $1000, followed by $700 for second place and $300 for third.
For those unfamiliar with Yum Yum, he was a dedicated community member known for his active involvement in cleaning up the area. He was always present in community cleanup efforts, often seen with garbage bags or a brush cutter. His pride in the community was evident to all.
Here are the steps to enter the Witset Yum Yum Community Cleanup giveaway:
Eligibility:
This giveaway is open to Witset band members. RESIDENCE IS IN WITSET. Must be living at residence entered into draw.
Entry Form:
Forms will be distributed door-to-door + available at the Witset Band Office.
Before Photo:
Prior to cleaning, take a "before" photo of the area to be cleaned.
Form Completion:
Fill out the form provided, which includes a checklist and a section for comments. Ensure accuracy in describing the cleanup work around your home.
After Photo:
After completing the cleanup, take an "after" photo to demonstrate the improvements made.
Submission:
Submit the completed form along with the "before" and "after" photos to the Witset Band Office to enter the draw.
Deadline:
The last day forms will be accepted is Thursday, April 25th at 4pm.
Entry Criteria:
You will receive one entry for submitting the form. To be entered in the grand prize draw you must have all items checked off in the grand prize section of the form. Additionally, you can earn multiple entries into the draw based on the number of items you check off on the checklist below the grand prize section. Completing the comment section on the form can also earn you more entries into the draw.
Draw Date:
Winners will be selected through a draw on Friday, April 26th.Prizes: The first name drawn wins the $1000 grand prize, followed by $700 for the second name and $300 for the third, Please note that the $1000 grand prize is not available to Witset Band staff or Chief & Council members, If any staff or Chief & Council names are drawn, they will receive the $700 second prize instead.
