Witset Canyon Revitalization Project

June 10, 2020 Council Meeting Update:

Decision was made to remove Option B due to the high costs associated with such a large scale project and the potential negative impact to such an archaeological sensitive site. 

Cost breakdown is as follows:

Option A: $374,935

Option B: $1,915,000

Option C: $554,587

In order to further reduce costs, the value above does not include a paved parking area, nor the cost of a picnic shelter. Once this project is complete, Council will review and a separate project for this purpose could be done in the future.
